Reviews are at the discretion of the chef and are based on a five-stew scale, which goes as follows: = five stews
excellent, highly recommended = four stews
very good, perhaps not entirely to my tastes but would rec = three stews
it was okay; possibly some flaw or boringness = two stews
not a huge fan = one stew
very not a fan

Some books may even earn our ~*bento box distinction*~, where they are especially good at representing a marginalized group. = diversity representation (specific area will be noted in review).

If you have suggestions for new books for the chef to have a look at, the comment form is always open.
